State Counsellor Thanks People on Her FB Account for Combating COVID-19

State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi expressed her special thanks to the people, on her Facebook Account yesterday, for their efforts in the face of the COVID-19 crisis.

Following is the full-text of her message.

I would like to express my thanks to the health workers and volunteers for doing their duties with compassion.

My thanks also go to governmental staff who are performing their duties daily to keep the governmental machinery operating.

I also thank those donors who contributed their assistance with loving kindness and Cetana to the areas which required their help.

I take this opportunity to thank those volunteers with golden hearts for their efforts in patiently solving social problems and conflicts.

I also thank our country’s people, who are supporting and assisting the COVID-19 prevention, containment and treatment measures by maintaining their discipline and displaying understanding of the challenges in the country, and with an eye towards benefitting themselves and others.
