It is a great pleasure to welcome to the webpage of the Embassy of Myanmar in Moscow.

This new portal aims to provide clear and updated information of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, inter alia, Political, Economic, Commercial and Tourism information.

Even though geographically far apart from each other, Myanmar and Russia have enjoyed a long history of friendship and cooperation. Ever since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1948, we have witnessed tremendous progress in our strong ties with deepening mutual-trust and cooperation in various fields.

The Embassy is committed to advancing sustained, sound and steady development of bilateral cooperation, and enhancing mutual understanding, exchanging friendship and goodwill between our two countries and peoples.

As Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation, I look forward to promote our bilateral ties in the years ahead.
